Boys and Girls 3rd – 8th grade (2022/2023 school year)
Practices are typically scheduled for two evenings per week for approximately 90 minutes each. Due to limited court space and facilities, there will be occasional practices that finish as late as 10:00 PM.
Nine weekend tournaments which includes the MYAS state tournament.
Player developmental skills clinics will be scheduled throughout the season in addition to practices.
Game Uniforms - will be purchased directly by parent through information provided by RAAA Traveling Basketball - approximate cost $100
Practice Jersey & Shooting Shirt - provided by RAAA

Head Coach Candidates: Please be advised that while the registration deadline for Traveling Basketball is not until September 5, 2022, if you are interested in a Head Coach position, applications are due by no later than August 31, 2022, in order to provide sufficient time for consideration of your application and interviews. $400 total will be collected in full at time of registration
$50 Nonrefundable Tryout Fee
$350 Season Fee collected at registration, refunded to anyone who is not placed on a team. Not refundable if placed on a team after tryouts, and then choose not to participate.
New for 2022-23, parents will purchase uniforms that player can keep for use up to two years. Additional info and instructions on this will come soon from RAAA Traveling Basketball. Approximate Cost $100
A volunteer deposit check of $300 will be collected at the beginning of the season.
The exact number of hours for 2022/2023 season are TBD as we fully determine our program requirements.
In 2021/2022, this requirement was 4 hours of volunteering per child participating in traveling basketball. Our program's primary volunteering opportunity will be the boys and girls hosted tournament. Please note the dates, boys tournament will be 12-17-22 & 12-18-22, Girls 1-21-23 & 1-22-23.
Deposit checks will ONLY be cashed if volunteer hours are NOT met.
Optional Fall Training Opportunities
There will be optional training opportunites. A one day single session tryout clinic; session will run approximately one to one and half hours. High School coaches will cover what to expect on day one of tryouts (drills, expectations, attitude, etc...). This will be a $20 fee. Time & Date TBD
May be requested during registration, and if granted, scholarship will cover $300 of fees. Participant will be responsible for remaining $100.

Boys Tryouts - September 11th and September 18th
Girls tryouts - September 14th (3rd-4th), September 15th (5th-8th), and September 17th (3rd-8th)
Players must attend both tryout sessions @ Rosemount High School. Exact times for each grade level TBD.
