The RAAA 3rd-6th Grade basketball program is hosted by the In-House basketball program and plays in the South Suburban Youth Basketball League. We will compete against teams in nearby associations. Games will be officiated by certified officials. There will also be a league tournament on the weekend of February 25th-26th.
South Suburban Youth Basketball Mission and Philosophy:
Eastview, Farmington, Rosemount, Apple Valley, Mendota Heights and Eagan have joined together in grades 3rd - 6th to offer a more competitive environment for players to play basketball without the level of commitment of a traveling program. With this, our philosophy is to develop the basketball skills of our youth; to encourage sportsmanship at all times; to build character and confidence; and above all to enable the youth to enjoy the game of basketball and have fun playing with their friends and against area competition.
Coaches are expected to strive for equal playing time and make it a positive experience for all players.
Games will be played in District 196 gyms and other area gyms.
