Boys and Girls 3rd – 8th grade (2021/2022 school year)
Practices are typically scheduled for two evenings per week for approximately 90 minutes each. There may be a few weeks where there will be a third skills practice hosted at Minnesota School of Basketball. There may also be developmental and skills clinics mid-season during the season. Due to limited court facilities, there will be occasional practices that finish as late as 10:00 PM. Eight to nine weekend tournaments.
Uniforms (included with season fee, must be returned at end of season)
-Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers.
Head Coach Candidates: Please be advised that while the registration deadline for Traveling Basketball is not until September 6, 2021, if you are interested in a Head Coach position, applications are due by no later than August 31, 2021, in order to provide sufficient time for consideration of your application and interviews. Head Coach applications may be found on the Traveling Basketball website on the “Coaches Corner” page.

$550 Total, collected as follows:
$50 Nonrefundable Tryout Fee
+ $220 Season Fee (1st of 2 installments) collected at registration, refunded to anyone who is not placed on a team. Not refundable if placed on a team after tryouts, and then choose not to participate.
+ $280 Season Fee (2nd of 2 installments) invoiced around October 15, 2021. Must be paid prior to receiving a uniform.
A volunteer deposit check of $300 will be collected at the beginning of the season. If the 4 hours of volunteering is not met the check will be cashed.
A uniform deposit check of $100 will be collected at the beginning of the season. If uniform is not returned at the end of season the check will be cashed.
Optional Fall Training Opportunities
There will be 2 optional training opportunites. First will be a one day single session tryout clinic; session will run approx 1hr to 1 1/2 hr. High School coaches will cover what to expect day 1 of tryouts (drills, expectations, attitude, etc...). This will be $20 fee. The second opportunity will be multi day clinic that will be more skill focused. This will also be run by the High School coaches, date, times, cost are TBD. Look for communication on these 2 events.
May be requested and if granted, scholarship will cover $350 of fees. Participant will be responsible for remaining $200, as follows: $100 at time of registration, and an additional $100 when fees are invoiced in October.

Registration Closes - September 11th (Girls can register through Sept 20th, but after Sept 11th, participants will need to contact Traveling Basketball for an Invite Code to complete the sign up)
Boys Tryouts - September 12th and September 19th (Players must attend both tryout sessions) @Rosemount HighSchool . Exact times for each grade level TBD.
Girls tryouts - September 16th and September 23rd (Players must attend both tryout sessions) @Rosemount HighSchool. Exact times for each grade level TBD.
Parent meeting – September 1st from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Zoom link to be shared closer to event date.
