Kindergarten Basketball Skills Development, led by In-House Basketball Director and parent volunteer coaches.
Sessions are designed to give kindergartners an opportunity to learn and build on basketball skills in a fun clinic setting.
Skills to be taught include: Shooting, dribbling, passing, catching, offensive and defensive skills.
Parent coaches will help run stations under the direction of In-House Director. Players will be placed in groups of 5 players. The program is limited to 60 players. Once we reach the limit registration will close. We will have a wait list in case we can add more kids.
Each player will have to wear a mask in and out of the facility. No parents or specatators will be allowed in the gyms at the current time. Coaches will need to wear masks while participating.
Dates/Times: Fridays Jan.8,15,22,29 and February 5th. Sessions will run at 5:15, 6:15 or 7:15. . All of this is subject to change!!
Location: Hope Fieldhouse
Provided: Each player will receive a T-shirt
Parent Meeting: Monday January 4th 7 pm Zoom
The Kindergarten program will need volunteer coaches to help teach the skills and help organize players from station to station. Every week, coaches will receive a clinic plan with all the drills and skills that they will need to teach. If possible, would be great to have 1 coach per 5-6 kids. Please consider giving a bit of your time and talent!!!
