2020 Fall Traveling Volleyball Details
This is an excellent opportunity for girls that are looking for more advanced volleyball than in-house or middle school program offerings.
Tryouts for grades 4th-8th Fall Traveling Volleyball will be held on Aug. 13th at the Rosemount High School between 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for 4th-6th graders and 7:00:-9:00 p.m. for 7th-8th graders. Placement of the players will be determined and communicated through email by the end of the day on Aug. 16th. To the best of our ability, players will be placed on teams with similar skill level. However, depending upon the number of players registered and skill level, some girls may not be placed on a team.
Please register your player on this site as soon as possible so we can have an accurate count for tryouts and to determine the number of coaches required.
Each team will consist of 8-10 players and 1-2 coaches.
4th-6th Grade: The league play dates will be Monday nights beginning mid-September at various south metro schools, and Saturday or Sunday at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville. Practices will be held twice per week, typically for 90 minutes on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
7th-8th Grade: Teams will play on Saturday or Sunday at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville. Practices will be held twice per week, typically for 90 minutes on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
There will be a mandatory 1 hour parent/player meeting the week of Aug. 24th for all fall traveling participants. Once more information is available, details will be shared.
$25 non-refundable Tryout Fee, due at registration. For girls that are not placed on a Fall Traveling roster, they will be allowed to register for an in-house team if they choose. If for some reason we are unable to hold tryouts, the $25 registration fee will be refunded.
$210 refundable Season Fee, due at registration. Refunds will only be made for girls not placed on a Rosemount Fall Traveling Volleyball roster or if we are unable to hold the season for some reason. For girls that are placed on a roster and choose to decline their placement, a refund will NOT be issued.
Girls placed on a team will receive a tryout t-shirt that will also be used as their jersey and spandex. The girls are responsible for their own tennis shoes and knee pads (optional but recommended).
Girls that are not placed on a team keep their tryout t-shirt.
