4th/5th/6th grade meets are tentatively scheduled for Friday evenings, with the possibility of occasionally moving to a Saturday or other week night due to track availability and/or weather.

Key Dates - Dome Clinics

This year, we are excited to offer clinics for the various age groups at the Rosemount Irish Dome. The pre-K/K/1st/2nd/3rd grade teams will have their clinic on Sunday, April 5th beginning (between 7 and 9 pm). Specifc times for each team will be sent once the team rosters are set. The 4th/5th/6th grade teams will have their clinic on Sunday, April 19th in the evening (between 7 and 9 pm). Specific times for the clinics will be shared once the rosters are set.

Coaching Opportunities

Each team needs two (2) coaches. Last year we had a desperate shortage of coaches at all levels and we urge anyone who is even remotely interested to please consider volunteering your time to coach your child's team. The positive impact you have on our children's level of engagement cannot be overstated and is a vital ingredient to the success of our program. There are some minor 'hurdles' that we need our coaches to clear - including concussion certification, background check and PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance) training. In addition, we are asking each team to hold one practice per week, either on a Monday or Wednesday evening. Practices are held weather permitting, and range from 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration, depending on the age group. This year, we will be sharing some practice ideas with the different age group coaches at the coaches meeting. The coaches meeting will be held in the evening on Sunday, April 5th, at the Rosemount Irish Dome.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

If you are not certain that you are able to commit to a coaching position, please consider volunteering at the track meets. We always need volunteers for recording results for the field events, order of finish and help with ribbons at the meets for the pre-K/K/1st/2nd/3rd grade meets. As is the case with coaching, we also have a desperate need for volunteers to help "run" events.  Please consider signing up to volunteer either on our track committee or to help out at the meets.  Your help is integral to the success of this program.

None required.  1/8" spikes allowed for 4th-6th graders only.
