2019 Spring Box Lacrosse Details

*****US Lacrosse Association: It is MANDATORY that all participants must be current members of the US Lacrosse Association. Please click on the US Lacrosse link ( to register/renew and pay your $30 fee. Once you have registered/renewed your US Lacrosse number proceed to Rosemount Registration.  You will be required to enter your US Lacrosse number when registering.  Please note if you are a returning player that your registration may not yet be up for renewal; however, you will need to renew prior to registering for the current year.*******


Spring Indoor "Box" lacrosse is played 6-on-6 on indoor turf. This is a combined South of the River league, known as Dakota Lacrosse, with participants from Rosemount, Eagan and Apple Valley.

Spring Indoor Box Lacrosse will be offered in two age-based divisions, 8U and 10U, consistent with US Lacrosse's guidelines.

8U:  Ages 6 and 7, as of August 31 preceding season start date (birth date on or between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2012)

10U:  Ages 8 and 9, as of August 31 preceding season start date (birth date on or between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2010)

Teams will be divided up equally based on skill level.  

There will generally be one practice and one game per week.  Practices will begin in March and the season will go through the end of April.

Most activities will be at Eagan Civic Arena on artificial turf.

Fees ($30 US Lacrosse Annual Membership fee NOT INCLUDED)

8U - $105.00 Registration Fee 

10U - $140.00 Registration Fee

Please note a wait list will be started when the ideal team size is reached for the projected number of teams.  If we have enough registrations to fill another team, then all wait lists will be invited to register.  Please register as soon as possible!

Equipment Needed

  • Helmet (hockey or lacrosse) with face shield

  • Lacrosse stick (rental sticks are available, if needed)

  • Mouth guard (colored)

  • Athletic supporter

  • Gloves (hockey or lacrosse)

  • Lacrosse shoulder pads and arm pads

  • Tennis shoes


Hockey equipment may be worn for the indoor league, however, lacrosse equipment, particularly helmet, is encouraged and is required for summer field participation.

Goalie equipment is provided for all teams.
