2019 In-House Basketball, 3rd-6th Grade (January - March 2019) Details

The RAAA 3rd-6th grade basketball program is designed to offer a more competitive environment for players to play basketball without the level of commitment of the traveling program. Our goal is to continue to teach and to advance one's basketball skills and to introduce more team play development. Also we hope along the way to teach the life skills of sportsmanship, leadership and teamwork.  Coaches are expected to strive for equal playing time and make it a positive experience for all players.

New this year for boys in 4th grade and girls in 5th/6th grade is the South Suburban Youth Basketball League(SSYBL).  4th grade boys will play games against teams from Eagan and Eastview basketball associations. 5th/6th girls will play games against teams from Eagan, Eastview and Farmington basketball associations. These games will be played in area schools and will be officiated by certified referees like our other games. There will also be a league tournament on March 9th which will include these associations.

Please note we cannot guarantee these requests. Requests are only accepted during the registration process (Please place in Comment section)--requests from late registrants cannot be accepted.  Due to the complexity of team formations, we are only able to honor one mutual request.

Coaching Opportunities:  The 3rd-6th grade league is a parent-coached program, so volunteer coaches are needed.  All coaches will need to go through background check, concussion training and PCA certification.
